Nice lightweight stroller for the price- plus a basket and parent tray!

After giving our large travel system to a family member, I still wanted to have a lightweight stroller for our 2 year old for walks, visits to the mall or zoo, etc. Since he’s two I didn’t want to put a ton of money into something that we wouldn’t be using all the time.

I checked out all of the lightweight strollers in this price range (<$50), and this was one of the few that offered both child and parent trays plus a basket underneath. My mom had bought this stroller when my son was born to keep in her car, and since she liked hers so much I figured I would get the same one. They must have updated the model because there are a few things I dislike about this version:

- There isn’t a window on the canopy (as her model has). Not a huge deal, but some people with younger babies might want one.
- It’s hard to use the drink holder/parent tray when the canopy is pulled back because it covers the tray. I just leave the canopy slightly open, but still a strange decision they made logistically.
- The canopy doesn’t come down as far as the prior model, so more sun gets in.

The pros still outweigh the cons. It’s easy to set up and assemble, lightweight and doesn’t look cheap. It is a little ‘stiff’ to maneuver, but I got used to it quickly. I think you’d have a hard time finding another lightweight stroller this nice for the same price.
